For the duration of the FIST: JAM OPS V, this project will be made available for free since it is referenced in If You Want Peace. Once the voting period has ended this will return to a fully paid product.
TEARS is a campaign sandbox set in a distant future where an entire island has been converted into a penal colony for enemies of the state. Once found guilty, inmates are dropped into the island via drop pods on what is known as Delivery Day.
The island is broken up into five distinct regions, each with their own societies and risks. Will your players risk their lives in a lawless, raider filled tangle of rebar and concrete? Will they try integrating into the society of a tyrant who controls access to safe food? Or will they take their chances and attempt to subvert the omnipresent AI responsible for keeping everyone contained?
TEARS provides game masters with a low-technology environment to drop their players into. The integrated metro system simplifies point-crawls and exemplifies the risks of overland travel. Use the included generators to create adventure hooks, fill out NPC backstories or determine how the environment twists player characters into mutants.
