System Update

Someone on the island has gained system access to the prison AI, The Autocrat. The system, built by TheroCrypt Enterprises is at risk of being compromised compromise should the intruder find system vulnerabilities.

Implementation limitations make it impossible to perform system updates remotely. You have been selected to drop into the location to perform the necessary updates.

Based on patterns we are seeing, whoever has gained access to the system is extremely knowledgeable and could completely terminate The Autocrat within the next day.

Failure of this system could put everything TheroCrypt Enterprises has built into question.

System Update is a 10-page adventure designed for the TEARS campaign setting and compatible with the Mothership Sci-Fi Horror RPG. In this adventure, your players are a group of contractors hired to drop into the TEARS prison facility, locate the access terminal and update the AI system before a hacker is able to take it down.

Designed for use as a one-shot, System Update provides:

• Travel rules for overland and metro navigation through the complex
• A unique and restricted equipment list for players to gear up from
• Three point-crawl locations for players to explore
• Four fleshed out NPCs and five creature stat blocks for random encounters
